Watermark Restaurant

The Watermark Restaurant has been touted as a five-star dining experience at three-star prices, so we decided to see for ourselves. Once a rather antiquated shopfront, this restaurant has been transformed into one of Setapak's hidden coffee spots, with an industrial-chic decor. The menu mainly features Western cuisine, offering a variety of dishes such as typical Western breakfast, steaks, soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and burgers. Beverages include Espresso coffee, English tea, specialty cold drinks, juices, and even beer.

Watermark 餐厅被传为是一家五星美食，三星价格的西餐厅，因此我们决定前往一探究竟。这家餐厅曾是一家相当陈旧的商铺，经过店家工业风格的装潢后，成为了 Setapak 区域一个不为人知的隐藏咖啡馆之一。这里的菜品主要以西式料理为主，涵盖了市面上常见的西式早餐、肉扒、西式汤、沙拉、吐司、意大利面、汉堡等美食。饮料方面提供意式咖啡、英式茶、特调冷饮、果汁，甚至啤酒也有供应。

While the menu options for both food and drinks are not extensive, each item listed can be considered a curated recommendation by the chef. I've tried their salmon fillet, grilled chicken sausage, cream cheese and garlic parcels, and smoked duck spaghetti for mains. For drinks, I opted for the passionfruit fizzy drink, cappuccino, and mocha.

​尽管各个菜品和饮料类别的选择并不多，但每一样出现在菜单上的都可以算作是主厨的精选推荐。我曾尝试过他们家的三文鱼扒、烤鸡肉香肠、奶油芝士蒜蓉包、烟熏鸭肉意大利面等主食。在饮料方面，我点了百香果气泡饮、卡布奇诺和摩卡等。

Overall, the main dishes meet the standards of a hotel chef, with flavorful and well-layered tastes that reflect the standard of Western cuisine. Additionally, the prices for each dish range from approximately RM13 to RM40, falling within the average price range in Kuala Lumpur. To cap off our culinary journey, we treated ourselves to a slice of ice cream cake, concluding the experience on a delightful note.

​总的来说，主食都达到了酒店主厨的水准，口味鲜美层次分明，体现了西式料理的标准水平。此外，每道菜的价格大约在 RM13 至 RM40 左右，属于吉隆坡一般中等价格范围。最后，我们品尝了一份冰淇淋蛋糕，为这次探店之旅画上了完美的句号。
